Today I am Happy for good music.
How could I live without listening to Cat Power while I paint or wake up to Gillian Welch.
On another note I am very proud of the Dixie Chicks.
I remember when they first came out and played this short half song on the Country Music Awards. It was years ago and I can even remember thinking to myself that they weren't going to make it. Not that I was much of a music critic at age twelve or however old I was but they didn't seem like they had a whole lot of talent. Any band that is smart enough to collaborate with Dan Wilson then hats off to them.
