This morning I woke up before my alarm clock went off. I immediately want to get up and get some coffee but I know the automatic coffee machine downstairs doesn't start until a reasonable time and I'll be damned if I get up ten minutes early to turn it on. So I lay in my bed for a while to stretch and then to stare at my alarm clock waiting until it goes off. Waiting until the annoying ring that I have my cell phone buzz in only the way it can. It finally does and I turn it off because now I can get coffee. I don't usually believe in life on a timer but this morning I do.
I'm very stiff from the lack of stretching that I did before running three miles so every step is incredibly painful. To me this doesn't matter because I'm awake, in a decent morning mood and all I can think about is how good the hardwood feels against my feet. How good that coffee is going to taste.
Soon we are cleaning. I'm more then willing to clean with Natalie because it is good money and who can turn down working with one of your best friends. Cleaning is kind of a weird job that tends to shift during stages with each hour. In the beginning you begin to think " I can't believe that people pay me to do this" then after minute and minute passes your body feels the wear to which you begin to say "Why can't these people clean their own damn house". During cleaning there is a lot of time for yourself to think of a variety of things, but for me this time is to mainly day dream of different events that I wouldn't mind having partake in sometime soon. The house that we clean is very small in the terms of how much room a hallway gives you to turn around in, or how big a doorway is. Basically, you can't be fat to live in this house. As I squeezed passed antiques I began to think, They should just make houses narrow. Wouldn't this stop the obese epidemic that is supposedly sweeping the nation? How easy it is to go buy a bigger size thirty dollar pant but a whole new house or a piece of furniture! Anyways, see how alone time equals all the absolutely amazing ideas you come up with! (haha)
But other then that the day was pretty much to the typical day of my life. Nothing horribly amazing except for food. We have a very good selection of places to eat around our house not to mention that my room mates cook all the time and save me food. I know! who could ask for better flat mates. Today I'm so grateful for all the wonderful food that I get to experience. So wonderful I think I might have to start looking for small houses :)
