On being a magician

well I've been pretty busy lately..I've found a job that I love and get paid almost next to nothing...pretty much everything I've ever asked for..ha!
so with that and trying to keep up with everything else I've been pretty busy.

The other night at dart league Dave and I played this team that was really amazing. Their names were Martha and Rick. Martha was pretty nice but the dreaded Rick Marks (can you believe that name for a dart player?!) just bragged about how he was the best and won all these championships. I am a true believer in modesty even if you are great. I also believe that if your a total bragger/boaster eventually life will teach you a lesson. On the other hand...me who believes in underdogs as well, Dave and I did not beat out Rick Marks and Martha. It was a huge bummer.
At one point in the game besides being really tired of darts, just got really low in confidence and then began to really suck. I guess all in all you should not let other people intimidate you because you never know what your going to pull from under your sleeve. You should always be proud of the abilities that you have.

Other then that I finally got to go to the beach the other day with Dave and it was wonderful. We read our books, went swimming and ate cherries and snap peas from the garden. It was really romantic. Very grateful.
