I don't really remember any sights of Minneapolis that I really liked except the one outside of my apartment on Groveland over looking the city and the dollar store. I especially enjoyed foggy days when the top of the buildings disappeared and you could only imagined that they continued forever.
There are two distinct scenes of St. Paul that if you live in Minnesota you have to experience. St. Paul at sunrise from Kellogg is absolutely beautiful. The way the first burst of rays hit the buildings definitely make you want to camp out with a pot of coffee and ponder all of the going ons that are happening within such a quiet city. If you happen to be on the East side coming from White Bear Ave and taking Maryland towards Arcade, you will find that on clear crisp spring nights much like tonight It is a stunning view of a long row of lights that lead to a backdrop of the city. The windows rolled down with a low drum of music playing you begin to get lost in a sea of neon lights and street sounds. Your swimming and its positively wonderful.
Life is pretty crazy. It's unbelievable how much shit is going on in this world. I'll tell you honestly, sometimes I really just feel like giving up just listening to it all or thinking about all of it. Its so overwhelming that I begin to think whats the point. Then you find people that are so amazing, with their stories and point of views that it makes you continue on, keep ticking.
Tonight I am so happy for being safe, having a safe home and waking up in the morning to things that I want and like to do.
