The Progress...

It only seems right for me to do a MLK post on his day considering he has given me a whole day off of school and work. It's not just an ordinary day although so far everything has happened as planned with pants going on one leg at a time. Standing in line at the grocery store and going through the emotions I think maybe it's time to just stop for a second and think about it. About all the things that have changed and how powerful MLK was in trying to create equality for the world. Trying to end the war and poverty, he certainly was a fearless leader in a time when he had everything in the world to be scared off. Being just the other day and realizing we have come a long way I think its time now to really take a day like today and think about all of the wonderful leaders that there have been in life, what we really want and take all of these thoughts with us in November and choose a real wonderful president that is a strong leader, advocate and someone who could also win a Nobel Peace Prize. Wonderful idea isn't it?

So today I'm grateful for very strong individuals that do for others what others can't do for themselves.
