Hello Out There *many echoes, crickets chirpping*

I really like the way fresh washed towels feel when they are folded and you are putting them back in the closet or where ever. I am also starting to really love curtains. I actually go to a restaurant in St Paul just for their curtains. Their food is good but their curtains are beautiful. Very Carefree. When we went to Savannah recently we drove through this run down neighborhood and there was a pale yellow house with white trim and two porches. The paint was chipping off, the porch furniture was mismatched and most of it looked broken but they had these bright crisp white curtains that hung loose on their line. It was so lovely watching them sway through the wind as they cascaded wherever they pleased as we drove by. It was kind of like watching waves in the ocean in the way it made you feel as though you were floating. Well my sewing hiatus has gone on a bit longer then I have expected. I guess it feels like a slow awakening. Since I started online shop I've been a recluse, hardly going out and sewing all the time, constantly creating. I'm starting to realize that I need more of a balance and to be more present in the outside world.
