Quiet Time

There is a certain time of the night when everyone is relaxing, well maybe except me because I'm a freak and I like to stay busy. I guess I'm mainly talking about all of the animals being our two cats and our new bunny Oreo. They all have their spots in the house, amos (cat) being the cat bed, jibboo(cat) on the couch and Oreo in the sitting chair. They especially love listening to music..records I think mostly. They will stretch out and nap, Oreo will sink deep into the chair and flatten out listening to the sound of Billy Holiday as the breeze flows through the windows. It's the most peaceful sight ever and personally one of my favorite times because everything seems so calm as though time has stopped for a few hours. I feel like I have time during the moments to do a million things, to conquer..that the world will never end. Then eventually Oreo jumps down and jumps into the cat bed that Amos is sleeping in and together the run around playing while Jibboo stares wide eyed. Dave comes home late in the night from work and then life starts all over again. This week two seperate times I saw flowers in the wild..my first flower sighting of the spring! I'm so excited to plant and get my hands dirty and wander around with no shoes. Live like a hobo basically :)
