The other day I made these cupcakes for a party :D There were some people at the party that claimed they didn't like sweets which I can't comprehend those people at all. I love the sweets, but I'm not a freak about it. I recently heard about this run that was five miles and every mile you stop at a pie shop and eat pie. I love pie but that thought really grossed me out. Sweaty hot and eating a piece of pie. Back to baking, while I didn't have a good crowd to give sweets to, it really didn't matter. The important part is that I made them and they existed in the world even if for a day. I think maybe in our culture we don't create things unless other components are involved, such as money, etc. I'm not saying this is true for all of things obviously I guess my point is that it's a nice feeling to nurture and love something just for the process and the emotion and not for the final outcome it has or it's destiny.
