Im at the library settled in for the night. Sam my PCA client is hankered down at the computer where he will be the entire night. We've settled into a nice relationship my Aries friend and I, me making art while he spends the night playing video games. He's much different then Travis my other PCA client who I haven't seen since winter started. With the snowy roads its doubled my commute from almost an hour to sometimes hour and a half to two. So I made the hard decision to say goodbye to Travis for the winter. When they say absence makes the heart grow founder they were right as I can't wait to see Travis funny face again and spend nights wandering around springbrook. So waiting and watching the snow build up and slowly melt into spring it's just me and Sam drifting around the quite library drinking coffee.
Both my jobs , cleaning and being a PCA are very different with one common factor...I work independently. It's fine..I'm not big into bosses but it does get lonely. With the big move to the country sometimes I feel even more disconnected. I hope that changes someday as I'm kind of lonely. It's good that I have such sweet pets at home and I get to say goodnight to my best friend every day.
I've started playing more music lately. I can basically only play two cords on my banjolele and sing the Tom Dooley song. Woodie Guthrie once said “Anyone who uses more than two chords is just showing off.” He also said “Any fool can make something complicated. It takes a genius to make it simple.” Fun reminder not just with music. As far as music goes I'm not too picky. I could care less if I become a banjolele pro, as long as I know a few chords and some songs to spit out everyonce in a while its good enough for me.
