There Will Always Be A Place For You

Travis and I go to this nature area in the city called Spring brook. It's about a half hour outside the city in a town called Fridley. It's the most beautiful and best place to go to. Travis and I probably go there twice a week and walk around. There is just so much to see such as turtles of all sizes, beavers, deer, muskrats, ducks and all kinds of birds, lizards, butterflies, snakes. It's kind of small and hardly any of the trails extend two miles long. I know I've talked about Springbrook before but it's just so wonderful. Today even being bit by a million mosquitoes since I put on hairspray I was still so smitten with the small sanctuary filled with trees, creeks, pond and a whole world of critters. Most of the time there aren't very many people and it seems like the whole place was created for just us. Plus they have flowers that smell like tootsie rolls I'm totally serious.

Well Dave and I after everything have moved into a new place. It's bigger and better and everything we could have ever asked for. Hopefully this will give Dave and I a whole new perspective on us and give us a place to grow up instead of down.

Moving is horrible it's for sure the one thing that I loathe but unpacking can be the best part. You get to experience all of your memories all over again good and bad. Like tonight I was reminded of that one time when "A Million Little Pieces" came out and I bought like SIX copies for me and my friends to read because I wanted to start an Oprah book club. Pretty embarrassing. My ultimate favorite thing to unpack in the whole world is my comic books. They rank up there on top three things I would save in a burning fire I love them that much. Sometimes I forget what I even have. They make me nostalgic and I want to just sit down with them in a room stock full of pizza and soda and not come out until I've finished them.
